What is Extended Treatment?
Extended Treatment is designed for eligible established patients who are doing well on a stable dose and prefer fewer medication orders. Eligibility and medication quantity are determined by the treating provider.
Which option offers the best value?
Extended Treatment generally provides the best overall value for eligible patients. The 4-week program offers a lower upfront cost and greater flexibility for patients who are still adjusting their dosage.
Can I choose my dosage or medication quantity?

No. Your provider determines your appropriate dosage and medication quantity based on your individual treatment plan.

Can I change my dose if I have medication remaining?
No. Medication should be used exactly as prescribed. Any dosage adjustment must first be approved by your provider.
What happens if my dose changes?
If your provider changes your prescribed dosage, your treatment option and future pricing may also change.

How do I know if I'm eligible?

How often are follow-up visits?
Follow-up frequency is determined by your provider and individual treatment plan. Patients typically return every 4–8 weeks to review progress, assess weight, evaluate any side effects, and adjust treatment if appropriate.
Can I text my provider?
Yes. Patients have access to unlimited secure text messaging with their provider for questions between visits during the course of treatment.
What happens during my consultation?
Your provider reviews your medical history, current medications, weight loss goals, potential contraindications, treatment options, and possible risks and side effects. Medication is prescribed only if medically appropriate after this evaluation.
How is dosing determined?

Your provider determines your individualized dosing schedule based on your medical history, tolerance, and treatment response. The dosing examples on this page are for educational purposes only.

Can treatment be adjusted over time?

Yes. During follow-up visits your provider may adjust your medication based on your progress, tolerance, and treatment response. Never adjust your medication without medical guidance.

What if I experience side effects?
Contact your provider through secure text messaging or schedule a follow-up. Your provider will evaluate your symptoms and determine whether any adjustments to your treatment are appropriate.
