Travel Consultation Required
A travel health consultation must be completed prior to administering any travel vaccines. Vaccine needs are assessed based on your destination, itinerary, and health history.
Pre-Payment Required
Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your travel vaccine appointment. Vaccines are ordered based on confirmed reservations.

Yellow Fever Vaccination
Hi Doc Medical Center is an authorized Yellow Fever Vaccination Center providing Yellow Fever vaccination for international travelers. Eligible patients receive the official International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP), commonly known as the “Yellow Card,” as documentation of vaccination for international travel.

Do I need an appointment for travel vaccines?
Yes. Travel medicine services and vaccinations at Hi Doc Medical Center are provided by appointment. Scheduling in advance also allows us to confirm vaccine availability before your visit.
How much does a travel health consultation cost?
A travel health consultation is $75 when no vaccine is administered. If you are eligible for and receive a travel vaccine during your visit, the consultation fee is reduced to $25, in addition to the cost of the vaccine.
Do you provide the Yellow Fever vaccine and Yellow Card?
Yes. Hi Doc Medical Center is an authorized Yellow Fever Vaccination Center. Eligible patients who receive the Yellow Fever vaccine are provided the official International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP), commonly called the Yellow Card.
How much is the Yellow Fever vaccine?
The Yellow Fever vaccination is $375 as of 09/30/2026. Vaccine availability and market cost may vary, so please contact us or schedule your travel consultation before your trip.
Do you offer the Typhoid vaccine?
Yes. Typhoid vaccination is available for travelers when appropriate based on destination, itinerary and individual health considerations. Availability should be confirmed when scheduling.
Can I get medication to prevent malaria?
Yes. During your travel health consultation, the provider can assess your destination, itinerary and medical history and prescribe appropriate malaria prophylaxis when medically indicated.
Can you prescribe medication for traveler's diarrhea?
When clinically appropriate, a provider can discuss prevention and prescribe medication to help you prepare for traveler’s diarrhea. Recommendations depend on factors such as destination and individual medical history.
How far before my trip should I schedule my travel health visit?
Schedule as early as possible before international travel. The appropriate timing varies because some vaccines require time to become effective or may require more than one dose. For example: yellow fever vaccine has to be administered atleast 10 days before departure. Even if your departure is approaching, contact us to discuss available options.
What should I bring to my travel health appointment?
Bring a photo ID, your travel itinerary or destination information, current medication list, relevant medical history and any available vaccination records. If you already have an ICVP/Yellow Card, bring that as well.
Do you accept insurance for travel vaccines?
Hi Doc Medical Center is a self-pay medical practice. HSA/FSA and CareCredit are accepted payment options. Pricing and payment requirements can be confirmed before your visit.
